What Is Behind The Winking Eye?

If you have the habit of “winking” with the eye or know someone that does then you should look into the Word of God to see what He says about the person that does it.

Pro 6:12-15 ESV  A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech,  (13)  winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger,  (14)  with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord;  (15)  therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing.

Pro 10:10 ESV  Whoever winks the eye causes trouble, and a babbling fool will come to ruin.

The Proud Are Resisted by God. Don’t Be One of Them!

So why do Christians go around and say that they are so “Proud” of something or someone when God says that He resists the proud! He also said of His Only Begotten Son Jesus, “…in whom I am well pleased” Mark 1:11. He didn’t say He was proud of Him. The Greek word “eudokeo” is what our English word “pleased” is translated from and it means to “approve of” or “think well of”. Watch out how the culture today has termed such things as “PROUD” to be an American. Pride STINKS! It is puffed up and arrogant. The next time you speak over your child, it would be best to tell them that you are “Pleased with them”.

These are just a few verses on the LORD hating a proud person….and there are many more. Do a study and search on “proud” or “pride” in the Bible.

Psa 138:6 KJV  Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

2Ti 3:1-2 KJV  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  (2)  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Jas 4:6 KJV  But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

1Pe 5:5-7 KJV  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  (6)  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  (7)  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Merchandising The Beauty

The Proud Look and Haughty Eyes – Watch Out!

In today’s culture the “LOOK” has been so much the thing, and sadly it has been with a lot of Christians too….the world teaches that one must have that look in their eyes and a “proud” stance to show confidence and to be sexy to attract the mate, or to have success. Beware…that is the thing that GOD HATES! Come out of the world Children of God! Be separate! Be Holy!

Pro 6:16-19 ESV  There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him:  (17)  haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,  (18)  a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,  (19)  a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

KJV says it well too…

Pro 6:17 KJV  >>>>>> A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood…

Keep yourself pure before God and walk humbly before Him.

Prayer and Fasting

Prayer and Fasting In Secret Brings The Rewards of God

Why go around boasting about how much you have fasted and prayed? You shouldn't…in doing so you have received your reward from man…keep it in secret and you will receive your reward from God. We've heard it said to us "follow this person because he/she fasts much and surely they hear the voice of God!" …. Not so…… Don't be deceived Children of God! These are the end times ….watch out for deceiving spirits looking for their following and approval of man. Be aware of ministries that boast of fastings, revelations and visitations from angels giving them new doctrine of revelation on Christianity.

*[[Mat 6:6]] KJ2000* But you, when you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly.

*[[Mat 6:17-18]] KJ2000* v 17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; v 18 That you appear not unto men to fast, but unto your Father who is in secret: and your Father, who sees in secret, shall reward you openly.

*[[Gal 1:8-11]] KJ2000* v 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. v 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed. v 10 For do I now seek the favor of men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. v 11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.

Neglect Not The Gift Within You And Stir It Up!

Paul reminds Timothy two times about the gift (Charisma) that was given unto him, that he was not to neglect it and to stir it up. We see it once in 1Ti 4:14 and again in 2Ti 1:6.

1Ti 4:14-15 KJV  Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.  (15)  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
2Ti 1:6-7 KJV  Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.  (7)  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

When we read 2Ti 1:6 we see that Paul is encouraging Timothy to stir up the gift. The phrase "stir up" was translated from the Greek word anazōpureō (an-ad-zo-poor-eh'-o), and it simply means to re-enkindle, in other words don't let the flame of this gift that was bestowed upon you to turn into smoking coals and glowing embers, but instead keep it burning with a great fire blazing; and if you have let it become those glowing embers, then use those embers to re-enkindle the fire. I think that Paul had seen Timothy slacking off or just simply not using the gift as often as he should have. But why would he have not used the gift? What kept him from excelling with it so that the profiting or advancement of it could appear to all?

In vs 7 immediately after Paul encourages Timothy to stir up the gift he reminds us that God has not given us the spirit of fear. I think Paul noticed that Timothy was not using his gift because fear kept him from using it. Paul had to remind Timothy that he has not been given a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. This fear could have been a fear of man or perhaps afraid of what one would think of this "Charisma" he showed and how it was used for the Glory of God. I believe that fear being the opposite of faith was smothering the fire of this gift inside of Timothy, it kept him from using the gift to its fullest potential and excelling with it. Whether this gift was for healing, working of miracles, teaching, prophesying, etc.,. it is not known, but it is clear that he needed to be reminded to use it and stir it up!

Paul's reminder to Timothy is to us as well. I encourage you to not neglect the gift and stir it up (re-enkindle) it. Do not let fear keep you from excelling with the gift, be not luke warm with it, nor afraid to be Charismatic! This gift is given by the grace and favor of God upon your life for His purposes to be fulfilled. Now excel with it so the advancement and profiting of it will appear before all so He is glorified!

All Scripture is God Breathed

No one should consider the Old Testament not useful for teaching. It is ALL God breathed. LORD bring the fear and reverence of Your Name and Word back to your people. Depart from the ways of the world! Return to God and His ways! Don't let into you through your ear and eye gates pollution of the worlds secular entertainment system, movies, radio, tv, etc.. Be Holy. Set nothing wicked or worthless before your eyes. Don't Christianize it just to make it fit and seem right to view or listen to such foul things….He desires us all to be fully committed to Him. You can't find your life in Him if your are not willing to lose the ways of the world. Love NOT the things of the world! Reserve the word and action of Love for whom it belongs, and it first belongs to Him.

*[[2Ti 3:16-17]] KJ2000* v16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: v17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

*[[1Jn 2:15-17]] KJ2000* v 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. v 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. v 17 And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides forever.

*[[Pro 15:9]] KJ2000* The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loves him that follows after righteousness.

*[[Mar 8:34-35]] KJ2000* v 34 And when He had called the people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. v 35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Grace Does Not Exclude Us From God’s Discipline

If you believe God is not angry anymore at the wicked or that He will not deal with you because you took Jesus and have His grace…think again. He chastises those He Loves. Grace does NOT exclude you from discipline. You are a DISCIPLE of Christ.

*[[Psa 7:11]] KJ2000* God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

*[[Psa 94:12]] KJ2000* Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O LORD, and teach him out of Your law;

*[[Deu 8:5]] KJ2000* You shall also consider in your heart, that, as a man chastens his son, so the LORD your God chastens you.

*[[Heb 12:6-9]] KJ2000* v 6 For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. v 7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not? v 8 But if you be without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are you illegitimate children, and not sons. v 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Jesus Set Us Free From Sin Not Free To Sin

Jesus didn't set us free to sin. He set us free from it. If you have taken the relaxed and kicked back view of God because of grace, then be challenged to pursue Him with Holiness! He is a rewarder of those who diligently pursue Him. Don't let grace be your license to not deal with or repent of sin. Past present or future. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God.

Heb 10:31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

The Authority and Anointing

Mat 7:28-29
(28)  And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching,
(29)  for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.

I get a picture in my minds eye of this crowd….jaws dropped down and eyes opened wide. There is a big difference in hearing a message of God that carries the Authority and Anointing of Christ vs religious shows.

Authority and the Anointing comes as we submit to the Father’s way and obey His Word and commands of holiness. The demons do not have to listen to one who is not walking in this true place of submission, it is dangerous to even attempt deliverance without having it:

Act 19:13-17
(13)  Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.”
(14)  Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this.
(15)  But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?”
(16)  And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
(17)  And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled.

Be blessed with His Great Love today!

Awaken The Dawn With Your Praise To The Lord

Psa 108:1-2 ESV
(1)  A Song. A Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!
(2)  Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!

You may not have a harp or lyre to awaken the dawn with, but you do have your voice! Let those praises roll out of your mouth from the living waters in your belly and give them to the LORD! Set your day in divine holy order by entering into praises of the LORD! GLORY!

The Word that came forth tonight (08/17/12) during the prophetic worship meet in Bradenton FL was “At the break of dawn the LORD will help!” Take this into action and begin to praise the LORD and rejoice and awaken the dawn with those praises to the LORD! He is ready to help you! GLORY! GLORY! GLORY!

Blessings of His Almighty Love,
