The Proof of the Apostle

2Co 3:1-3 ESV
(1)  Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you?
(2)  You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all.
(3)  And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

So many Churches today before accepting another ministry into their building want to know whose covering they are under and who recommends them. While this is good to do the research to know about others, the biggest part of it remains on the fruit produced or the track record. You can discern the fruit on the tree and see whether or not it is of God. We need to be Spirit led with our decisions not letter led to know the proof of a ministry.

Apostle Paul made it very clear in his writing to the Corinthian Church that the proof of his apostle work was in the fruit of his labor among them and he did not need any other recommendations to justify his calling of being an apostle father to them. Paul knew his region of authority that was given to him by Christ and it definitely included the Corinthian Church.

It's simple…. the fruit produced bears witness of whether or not it is of the Holy Spirit's work.

You are loved greatly in Jesus! Keep pressing onward! Forget the things that lay behind you and move ahead!

Standing Firm and Holding the Traditions

2Th 2:15 ESV
(15)  So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.

It doesn't matter the number of people following someone confessing to be a Christian whether on TV, internet or at a work place. If what they do does not line up with the Word of God then it simply is not of God. We must do as Paul said to "Stand firm and hold to the traditions taught".  The worst thing one as a Christian can do in my opinion is to take everything that comes to them from another minister as though it was from God. We must test the spirit and see if it is of God. Study to show our own selves approved.

2Ti 2:15 KJV
(15)  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1Jn 4:1 KJV
(1)  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Stay tuned into His Word. Find that secret place with God through prayer and His Word. It's there we grow deeper with His wisdom and strength to endure the times we live in.

You are loved in Jesus! Extravagant blessings to you!

Prophetic Sounds and Echoes of Heaven

Act 2:2 KJV
(2)  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Something I want you to notice is in vs 2 there was a "sound" that came from heaven. First I want to point out the English word sound comes from the Greek text "echo", and by this we can see that clearly there were echoes of heaven being released to the earth. His kingdom come and His will be done. Amen.

I believe there is a sound that God's glory and power comes with, and in this sound alone there is healing and much deliverance. We are not to get caught up in chasing after these sounds in worship, but if we keep our hearts fixed on Him and worship Him alone this prophetic sound will be produced. The most important sound we can ever make is our hearts being sold out to Him and Him alone, nothing else can compare to a yielded obedient heart filled with humility and meekness.

You are greatly loved in Jesus! Be blessed extravagantly!

The Purpose of the Five Fold Ministry

Eph 4:11-14 KJV
(11)  And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(12)  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
(13)  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
(14)  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

What is the purpose of the five fold ministry? Do prophets and apostles really have a place today? YES! BUT, there has been a lot of false work happening in the area of the prophetic ministries, some have been in it just for the desire of being seen while used by seductive spirits, or they have been deceived by new age spirits of witchcraft, or just in it for the gain of wealth for their own selves and have gone astray like Baalam, while others in the prophetic are truly walking in the humility and meekness in Christ for His Glory. The false prophets and apostles have caused other people in the past to turn from prophetic ministries as they have had a bad taste towards it. That is changing.

Sometimes I find it interesting that people don't mind if someone is called a pastor or evangelist, but when you put the term apostle or prophet in front of it there seems to be resistance to that. Why? Because of the abuse that has happened within the five fold. God is in the business of restoring and you can be sure there is a shifting and shaking going on. The purpose of the gifting is to bring all of the Church into the perfect man and unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. God is raising up a remnant who has not bowed their knee to baal and these people will roar from their seats and not be silent anymore to speak the truth of the Word in this soon coming change.

Keep strong in Him and live pure, holy and most consecrated to Him for His purposes.

You are loved greatly in Jesus! Be radically blessed to the overflow with His provisions! Amen.

The Gift of Tongues Part 3

Eph 6:18 KJV
(18)  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

This is the place we need to stay by communing with the Father through prayer and His Word. I believe the one reason that praying in the Spirit is so very powerful is because the devil and demons can not figure out what we are praying, it is a mystery to them but not to born again believers. The Spirit of the LORD reveals to us what He wills as we pray in the Spirit.

Praying in the Spirit also builds up and edifies yourself.

Jud 1:20 KJV
(20)  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Paul said he had rather speak five words that were understandable than to speak in unknown tongues, but he also said that when we pray in the Spirit that we also pray for the interpretation so edification can be made and those who are listening can understand what the Spirit of the LORD has revealed.

1Co 14:5 KJV
(5)  I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

1Co 14:12-13 KJV
(12)  Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
(13)  Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

Be extravagantly blessed and you are loved in Jesus,

The Gift of Tongues Part 2

1Co 14:2  For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

Hello and blessings to you from our Lord Jesus Christ. Before I go too far in explaining more verses from chapter 14 of 1st Corinthians I want to stop and expand some on the mystery part. There is such revelatory knowledge available to us as born again believers by praying in the Spirit and we are most certainly not left in the dark about it. In fact praying in the Spirit is one way to develop a deep relationship with the Holy Father by communing with Him through His Spirit. Let me explain.

1Co 2:9 KJV
(9)  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Most people quote vs 9 and say such things as, "Well you never know what God is going to do.", and if you were to stop in vs 9 that would be true, but read the very next verse.

1Co 2:10 KJV
(10)  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

You and I as born again believers are not left in the dark concerning those things that God has for us.

Praying in the Spirit develops a deeper relationship with the Father because only the Spirit of God can reveal the mind of the Father to us. The mysteries spoken of in 1Co 14:2 "…howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries." are revealed to His people by His Spirit just like vs 11 and 12 explain:

1Co 2:11-12 ESV
(11)  For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
(12)  Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.

In the next writing I will explain further the mystery part and how we can do as Paul said to do:

Eph 6:18 ESV
(18)  praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

You are greatly loved in Jesus!

The Gift Of Tongues

1Co 14:1-2 KJV
(1)  Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
(2)  For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the Spirit he speaketh mysteries.

There has been such a division in the Church over praying in tongues from some claiming its of the devil (which its not), to those saying you are not saved unless you have this gift (which is far from the truth). First, it is of the LORD as it is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Second, salvation ONLY comes through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, not a supernatural manifestation of being filled with His Spirit.

What I want to point out is that some people think that praying in tongues is ONLY praying in other known

languages that other people of the nations can understand. Yes that did take place on Pentecost (Acts 2:4-8) as they shared the Gospel in other known tongues to the nations by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, but there is a prayer language tongue that is unknown to man but known only by God. Look at vs 2 and see what it says, "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the Spirit he speaketh mysteries."

If this speaking in tongues was a tongue that other nations could understand then it would of said "unto men", but it did not, it said "unto God". Do you see that? Very clear. I believe I will be further explaining the gift of tongues in the next few days so be ready. Be blessed with His love!
