| Who commands the Angel's? |

Who Commands The Angels? There has been a whole lot of talk recently about angels and a bunch of misconceptions about them. I want to express to you one of the things that I’m hearing people do in regards toward angels and the truth about it. I’ve heard a lot of people going around saying, “I charge you angels!” and then they claim what they should be doing for them. The angels do not hearken unto the voice of us but they answer to the voice of our Father in Heaven. This commanding the angels by us is not based upon scripture at all. Scripture clearly indicates that it is the LORD who gives His angels charge over you. Read Psalm 91:11 and you’ll see what I am talking about. It says that He gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all of our ways. Not us. We can not just take everything we hear from another Christian and think that it is of the Holy Spirit just because they said it. It is our job as Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 2:15 to study to show ourselves approved being able to rightly divide the word of truth. When Jesus was in the garden just before His death at the cross He said in Matthew 26:53 “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and He shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” (KJV) Did you notice that it said the Father was the one who sent and commanded the angels? You might think; How do the angels know what to do then if we don’t tell them? Doesn’t God Almighty know what you are needing? Of course He does! Jesus said He could pray unto His Father concerning the angels to be released. This is clear indication that we can ask the Father to release the holy angels to work on our behalf in any situation. Why any situation? Well Psalm 91:11 said the angels shall keep us in all of our ways. The angels are released upon our prayer of faith in asking the Father to send them to our help. I trust you can see now who it is who gives charges to the holy angels. In Jesus love and peace, Gary…. |
