Three Steps To Holy Spirit Lead Direction

Proverbs 3:5-6 is a power packed message in itself and it contains a 3 step process in order to reach victorious living. If you are going to be lead by the Holy Spirit you will have to start by applying the first part of the verse. The verse starts out by saying to trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Everything in our walk with the LORD must start with trust in Him. Take note that this trust must be with all of your heart. If you’re not willing to trust Him in every area of your life then you’ll need to stop right here and ask Him to help you to do this. Otherwise you won’t be able to apply this scripture and walk it out. It’ll take an action of faith to do this Circumstances may be contrary to the Word of God but if you can trust in Him with all of your heart then you are on the way to step #2.

The second part is to lean not unto your own understanding. If you lean to what your own understanding is then you are not trusting in the LORD with all your heart. I’ve caught myself saying, “I don’t understand this situation and I don’t know why it has been allowed to happen.” and I’ve had to make myself say that I refuse to lean to my understanding but I trust in the LORD with this. he must have all of us in every step of the way. IF we would have an understanding in every situation it wouldn’t take faith and trust to go through it.

The third part ties the first two all together because it is all about Him and not about us. The verse says to acknowledge Him in everything you do. If you are doing this third part then you truly have already trusted in Him with all your heart. He wants to be our guide life over everything. If we will just allow Him to do that. he is awaiting for us to open the door to Him and acknowledge to Him everything we do.

If you’ve done all three steps then you’re well on the way to being right in the middle of His perfect will in every area of your life. It’s alright if you don’t understand your situation. you don’t have to understand it to know that you are more than a conqueror in all things through Christ Jesus! Rom 8:37 Just keep pressing in to His kingdom and seek it first Matt 6:33 . You’ll have a worry free and victorious lifestyle if you do! It will make people around you want to know how you keep that smile on your face and can be of good cheer even in the midst of something you don’t have an understanding to.
