Men and women it’s time to rise up and dress modestly in the church and out of it. As a man, I find it very distracting and not pleasing to see women flaunting their body parts around in skin tight clothing, halter tops, etc.,. I know people go and say, “Well it’s just our culture and it’s the way we’ve been brought up.” Jesus never told us to be conformed to our culture. Paul said under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit not to be conformed or patterned after the worlds ways but be transformed by the renewing of our minds so we could prove that good and acceptable perfect will of God. Rom 12:2

Men of God. Stop flirting with the women and women you need to stop flirting with the men. Whether you are married or not, it is wrong to flirt with others and there is no excuse for it. Flirting is a seed that is planted and will produce adulterous and fornicating action if it is not been dealt with by submission to His Word and true repentance. There is absolutely no excuse for a man to massage a womens shoulders, if she is not your wife and the same goes for a woman massaging a mans shoulders, if he is not your husband. These are deadly kinds of seeds that will lead to a spiritual death. Men and women of God we need to speak right, dress right and act right so as not to put a stumbling block in the way of someone causing them to sin.

One of the interesting facts about Biblical dressing and the days of Jesus was how they dressed. They wore an inner and outer garment. The inner garment was a material made like that of a t-shirt and covered the entire body. The outer garment went on over the inner garment and it covered the whole body as well. It was said that if you was seen in just your inner garment you was considered “naked”, of course if you were without it you was totally naked. Why would it be acceptable to God today if we would wear short shorts and fleshly revealing clothing? The media and Hollywood has had a lot of influence on what depicts to be acceptable. The majority of the reason someone dresses in seductive clothing is to be noticed. There is a need for attention in their lives because their relationship needs to be developed deeper with the Lord and their marital partner.

There was a protocol with the Levites in how they had to approach the altar and how they were to minister unto the Lord. This holiness movement that is beginning to happen all over is a total change of dressing and behaving. This begins in the heart and it will reflect outwardly what is happening inwardly. If we want the next level of pure anointing in our lives this is the issue that must be dealt with head on. Modest and Holiness is the thing to do today. Now is the time.
