Think on These Things
What are you thinking about right now? What do you find yourself thinking on through out the day? You need to fill up your heart with good thoughts and allow Him to put a new song in your mouth. Psalm 40:3 Paul of all people wrote a letter of rejoicing, the book of Phillipians, when he was in prison. Think about that for a moment. Paul in prison, chained up in some of the worst conditions but he refused to complain! It’s no wonder he had a soul winning ministry and was walking around casting out demons and healing the sick! He had an attitude of being submitted to God in all that he did. You know Psalm 40:3 gives us an insight to what happens when we begin to declare with our mouths His glory and His works in our lives. It will set others free as they will see and fear Him for what He has delivered us from. You’ll begin to have the anointing flowing through you like never before!
Thinking on good things is a habit you must get in to doing. It’s going to take some work, and it might be hard at times not to complain. Especially when you’re doing work around the house and you might not feel appreciated for what you do or when you are stuck in a traffic jam with people honking their horns in anger. What will you do? Will you join them by raising your fist to the air also? You better not! You better have these verses in Phil 4:8 written on your heart, so that out of the abundance of your heart you’ll just praise your way through an ugly situation because you’re refusing to complain!
Don’t let the burdens of this life weigh you down. Remember what it was like to be a child? You were carefree! Jesus said unless you become as like on of these children you will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven. Matt 18:3 Say this out loud, “I don’t have a care in this world! My Father cares for me and I cast all of my cares upon Him because He cares for me!” 1Peter 5:7 Now if you believe what you just said then you’l have a whole new outlook on life and you’ll live in the victory that Jesus already paid in full just for you. Make the determination today to rejoice always in the Lord and again rejoice! Phil 4:4 Hallelujah! c
